📋 Description

• Work on front-end, mobile and back-end sides of Edpuzzle software • Participate in the design, creation, and maintenance of features • Write clean, functional, testable, and scalable code • Fix bugs and address other coding issues • Continuously learn to handle problems of increasing complexity and potentially lead projects • Work with React, Redux, Node, Express, MongoDB and AWS; follow testing, trunk based development, CI/CD and best practices • Collaborate closely with Product, Infrastructure, Design, Data, QA, Security and other teams • Take ownership: research, propose solutions, implement while relying on teammates when needed • Communicate effectively to maximize productivity and help projects reach deadlines • Develop pixel-perfect designs following Design team indications • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software • Write technical documentation and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years professional experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development • Experience writing well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code and comfort working across the stack • If you’re not already full-stack, you’re motivated to get there • Strong experience in frontend writing complex interactive UIs with React • Backend development experience writing high traffic servers in Node.js • Excellent ability to communicate your ideas, regardless of the audience • Pragmatic with technologies and product-oriented • Naturally curious, proactive, and able to work independently • Able to plan, control time, and meet deadlines while maintaining flexibility • Comfortable in spoken Spanish and written English • You are based in Spain and have a work permit to work in Spain • Bonus: Experience working in startup/scaleup environments and cross-functional teams • Bonus: Experience with Redux for client state management • Bonus: Experience with Express.js and MongoDB • Bonus: Experience with complex backend architectures such as Hexagonal Architecture and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
