📋 Description

• Provide high-quality phlebotomy care to clients in Bristol and surrounding areas • Carry out blood tests during booked domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner, with telephone and mobile app support • Seek advice and support from senior colleagues or the Heim Clinical team when matters exceed responsibility, knowledge, or skills • Ensure domiciliary blood samples are posted or brought to the hub in time for courier collection • Document blood tests taken in patients' medical records • Report identified risks, such as unsafe environmental conditions, to the Heim Clinical team • Follow company protocols, guidelines, policies, and procedures • Use digital mobile tools to coordinate assignments and record patient notes • Promote a safe and healthy working environment and report incidents or near misses • Maintain patient and carer confidentiality and privacy • Function as an integral part of the phlebotomy team and attend relevant meetings • Maintain compliance with relevant training and participate in development and appraisal

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of phlebotomy experience • Enhanced DBS disclosure of convictions (adult) • Personal professional indemnity insurance, with evidence required • Two referees, including at least one from recent employment • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle • Fluent English required • Ability to travel and work primarily in patients' homes/community settings • Strong track record providing excellent phlebotomy services for at least six months • Ability to work as a lone practitioner with telephone and mobile app support • Comfortable using a digital mobile tool to coordinate job assignments and record patient notes • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and policies, including equal opportunities, health and safety, and confidentiality • Right to work in the UK • Registration with the NMC, Phlebotomy National Register, or equivalent is asked in the application questions
