📋 Description

• Develop and respond to requests for information and proposals • Collaborate with subject matter experts to complete proposals timely and accurately • Review and vet RFP and RFQ opportunities with regional leadership and SMEs • Coordinate and respond to opportunities to ensure timely and accurate submissions • Provide initial drafts to SMEs and incorporate edits and updates • Ensure drafts are compliant, responsive, and tailored to client needs • Ensure security and integrity of proposal documentation • Identify and document new requirements with SMEs • Facilitate internal flow and review of proposal inputs • Direct production of final master proposals • Determine and maintain response timelines to meet deadlines • Help develop and maintain proposal best practices • Perform RFP follow-up, proposal library updates, and other ad hoc assignments • Develop and manage teaming relationships supporting RFP requirements and participation goals • Support the organization’s quality programs and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience required, preferably in engineering, construction, architecture, or other professional services • Minimum of four (4) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • At least one (1) year of project management experience required • At least one (1) year of proofreading and editing experience required • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Preferred: eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Five (5)+ years of proposal management experience preferred, preferably in environmental, engineering, construction, architecture, or other professional services industries • Minimum of five (5) years of proofreading and editing experience preferred • Experience creating proposals in response to public-agency RFQs and RFPs at city, county, state, and federal levels, specifically in California and Texas • Effective collaboration with project pursuit teams • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results • Strong grammar and proofreading skills • Knowledge of appropriate software • Good project management, time management, and organizational skills • Good oral and written communication skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies and deadlines • Ability to develop and manage teaming relationships supporting RFP requirements, including minority and subcontracting participation goals • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work-related stress, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion • Computer keyboarding; travel as required
