📋 Description

• Provide Technical Senior Data Analyst support for the M2i Metals and Minerals Intelligence Platform and related Business Intelligence activities • Structure, transform, validate and document raw materials market intelligence data • Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets and semantic models • Analyse source data, reporting requirements and market intelligence use cases • Define datasets, semantic models, indicators, measures and dashboard logic • Configure, test and optimise Power BI and Microsoft Fabric components • Perform data consistency, reconciliation, refresh reliability, usability and maintainability checks • Maintain integration between source systems, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and other relevant data environments • Identify and manage technical dependencies • Maintain documentation covering source data, assumptions, transformation logic, data models, quality checks, dashboard configuration and limitations • Prepare technical handover material for continuity, maintenance and future development • Improve platform backend, lakehouse architecture and data models • Integrate and validate internal or external data sources • Optimise Fabric pipelines, semantic models, embedded reports, refresh processes and processing efficiency • Design and implement multi-tenant architecture, secure authentication and access management • Implement user metrics and platform-usage monitoring • Support data governance, standardisation, quality control and future platform releases • Onboard additional commodities, sectors, dashboards, datasets and analytical capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Open to all tenderers • Signed Tenderers’ declaration form required • Minimum of one reference for comparable services and scope/complexity • Experience working in an agile project framework, such as SCRUM or comparable • Experience working in a multilingual project framework involving English and another language • Examples of website or work involving complex databases and ETL and/or Power BI activities • Approach to taking over and familiarising oneself with an ongoing transition project • CV documenting services, track record, personal references, programming languages and IT skills • Financial offer presented in Euro as a net amount per person hour plus VAT • Indication of supplier’s insurance coverage • Proposal must specify company liability insurance and/or professional liability insurance, including maximum coverage per event • Contractor must have the experience, skills and resources to perform the services • Ability to work with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric components • Knowledge of data modelling, data transformation, analytical dataset design, data integration and quality assurance • Ability to provide technical documentation and handover materials
