📋 Description

• Take an initial idea through to a deeply researched video • Research topics related to Physics, Maths, Engineering, and other scientific fields • Propose video ideas • Source experts for interviews or collaboration, either on-site or virtually • Trace stories back to scientific papers and original sources • Stay current on new research, scientific discoveries, and advancements • Write video scripts • Conceive and communicate the vision for videos • Direct video edits • Lead the video team and deliver videos on time • Brief animators and video editors • Work alongside researchers • Receive and action feedback from editorial leadership • Start with a stint in the research team to learn working standards

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Maths, Engineering, or a related field • Excellent research, reading comprehension, and fact-checking skills • Strong project management skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines • Passion for and knowledge of science YouTube content • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Strong attention to detail • Commitment to producing high-quality content meeting Veritasium's standards • Passion for educating and inspiring others about Physics and science • Proven experience in long-form or feature science communication is desirable
