📋 Description

• Lead evidence generation strategy in Cardiometabolic Health • Translate scientific ideas into tangible actions and solutions using real-world data, analytics, and outcomes research • Design and execute studies using claims, health records, and bespoke real-world data sources • Engage scientists and senior leadership on methods, implementation, and interpretation of real-world evidence • Lead operational execution of complex studies • Anticipate future real-world data needs and position Lilly to lead the field • Maximize AI and emerging technologies in the real-world data workflow • Build federated and privacy-preserving data capabilities • Connect real-world data insights to clinical trial design and regulatory strategy • Ensure data assets reflect diverse and complex real-world patient populations • Drive integration of HEOR from early clinical development through commercialization • Develop and oversee health outcomes research strategies for Lilly portfolio compounds • Serve as a strategic partner on lead/core teams • Formulate and drive patient-focused outcome, real-world evidence, and economic value strategies • Develop high-impact science across the product lifecycle • Apply disease-state knowledge and research methods to registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access initiatives • Establish strategic relationships with internal and external decision makers • Lead evidence planning and implementation with cross-functional teams • Communicate health outcomes information to business partners, the scientific community, and customers • Lead dissemination through abstracts, posters, podium presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts • Align and drive application of research results and deliverables • Monitor developments in disease states, HEOR methodologies, market needs, and environmental factors • Ensure projects meet timelines, budget, and scope • Coordinate research with cross-functional Lilly partners and external collaborators

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate (PhD, MD) in an appropriate discipline such as economics, epidemiology, medicine, pharmacoeconomics, statistics, data science, or other relevant sciences • 5+ years of experience creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects using advanced methods and analytics • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Real World Data • High proficiency in statistical languages and software such as R, SAS, or Python • Ability to manage, harmonize, and analyze large-scale electronic health and/or administrative medical and pharmacy claims data • Ability to translate research questions into program specifications • Strong comprehension and communication skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams • Understanding of healthcare systems in at least one of: US, Europe, Asia • Understanding of healthcare delivery models and clinical research • Technical and analytic capabilities in economic modeling, economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness evaluation, patient-focused outcomes, real-world evidence, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, or healthcare policy • Ability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination • Ability to think and act globally with a customer focus and solution orientation • Domestic and international travel may be necessary
