📋 Description
• Maintain and enhance our data model to ensure it meets stakeholder needs in scope, accuracy, and performance. • Own the full data workflow, from ingestion into the data warehouse to the semantic layer. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, strategic priorities, and vision, translating them into actionable insights. • Refine, challenge, and support stakeholder requests and create or adapt reports accordingly. • Develop company-wide reporting standards and guidelines to empower business users to perform basic reporting independently. • Explore and analyse raw data from various source systems to inform data model decisions and detect anomalies or inconsistencies. • Identify and specify future analytical needs and required data points resulting from new features, business changes, or processes. • Work cross-functionally with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other teams to ensure alignment and high-quality deliverables.
🎯 Requirements
• Several years of professional experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst • Proven expertise in creating dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar tools • Strong experience in data modelling • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Git • E-commerce data experience would add a lot of value • A high degree of passion for data, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail. • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics) is a strong plus. • Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
