• This is a remote position. • Embrace Software Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our team. • This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning. • The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving financial strategy. • The ideal candidate has a proven track record in financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and business integrations. • This role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to support acquisitions and overall financial health. • Key Responsibilities include: Oversee and manage all finance functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency; Lead accounting processes; Conduct monthly book closures; Prepare and review financial reports; Ensure timely and accurate tax filings; Support financial due diligence for acquisitions; Develop financial strategies; Collaborate with internal teams; Manage, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals; Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management; Maintain and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CA certification is required. • 8+ years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in a software or technology company. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel. • Experience with ERP systems is a plus. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders. • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
