📋 Description

• Lead the national valve team, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management • Set the strategic direction for the national valve division, including sales goals and market penetration strategies • Work with Profit Centre Managers to identify and win large-scale projects and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) contracts • Develop and maintain strong relationships with End Users, EPCs, and Contractors • Collaborate with vendor partners to develop and implement national and regional programs • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions • Maintain a deep understanding of Westlund PVF’s valve product offerings and industry standards • Ensure the team follows all safety regulations and company policies

🎯 Requirements

• College and/or University degree preferred • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the wholesale distribution or manufacturing industry, with a focus on valves or related industrial products • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a successful sales team • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software • Strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity • Driven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make sound business judgments • Strong desire to strive for operational excellence • Ability to travel nationally as required
