📋 Description

• Deliver company inductions for new starters across all divisions within the designated region and support national training activities where required • Deliver annual refresher and mandatory training programmes across all service lines • Deliver accredited First Aid qualifications and other approved training courses • Conduct driver coaching, theory sessions, and practical driving assessments • Support and motivate learners to achieve successful outcomes and progress • Coach, support, and assess Part-Time Trainers • Coach, support, and develop Mentors within the region • Encourage continuous professional development • Monitor, maintain, and report on training compliance • Ensure training records are accurate, current, and auditable • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Compliance, Fleet, and other stakeholders • Ensure training aligns with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations • Identify emerging training needs from legislative, industry, contractual, or organisational changes • Contribute to developing, reviewing, and maintaining training materials • Support continuous improvement of training programmes, resources, and delivery methods • Build relationships with operational teams and stakeholders • Deliver agreed objectives and key performance indicators • Maintain training records using Bamboo and other learning management platforms • Record accredited learning outcomes with external awarding organisations such as Qualsafe • Generate and distribute training certificates • Produce training reports and compliance data • Travel throughout Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and nationally as required • Represent the Training Team and EMED Group professionally

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable understanding of the Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) role and associated responsibilities • Current First Aid qualification or equivalent clinical competency • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Commitment to supporting the development and wellbeing of colleagues • National or regional training experience is implied by the role, with experience in coaching, mentoring, or supporting staff development desirable • Experience delivering safeguarding training desirable • Experience delivering health and safety training desirable • Previous experience facilitating training, coaching, or competency assessments within an operational healthcare or ambulance environment desirable • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards, desirable • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) desirable • Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent, or willingness to work towards, desirable • Assessor qualification desirable • Driver Instructor qualification, Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), RoSPA qualification, or equivalent desirable • Mental Health First Aider qualification desirable • Ability to travel throughout the assigned region and nationally as required • Flexibility in working locations and hours
