It runs scaffolded learning pathways (introductory projects, an 18-session studio, and an open-source contribution track) around its core game Threadbare, builds a global community of creators and mentors, and partners with schools and organizations to expand laptop ownership and remove barriers to digital creation.

📋 Description

• Own the technical direction and day-to-day engineering operations of the platform. • Drive architecture decisions, set code standards, and solve complex problems. • Lead engineering practices (code review, QA, monitoring, AI tool use). • Run agile processes (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). • Collaborate closely with Product to establish roadmap priorities and translate requirements into actionable work.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years software development experience • 2+ years engineering team management experience • 1+ years experience using AI technologies in professional context • Expertise in web development (Javascript/Typescript), working across frontend, backend and databases. • Strong engineering team management experience. • Product collaboration skills. • Meticulous communication and organisational skills. • Agility & adaptability.
