📋 Description

• Fork and enhance the Blockscout blockchain explorer for the Energi blockchain • Work on backend systems, APIs, and integrating real-time data feeds • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix framework • Collaborate to architect scalable systems that support our cryptocurrency platform • Implement and integrate blockchain technologies and protocols into our applications • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices • Develop automated tests and conduct thorough debugging • Monitor and optimize system performance to handle high transaction volumes • Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation • Implement security best practices to protect user data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience as an Elixir Developer, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects • Experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry is highly desirable • Proficiency in Elixir and the Phoenix framework • Strong understanding of functional programming principles • Experience with distributed systems and concurrency • Knowledge of blockchain technology and protocols • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket communications • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture • Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Self-driven with the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision • Fluent English communicator • Passionate and up-to-date on the rapidly changing world of blockchain technology • Values aligned with the Energi culture and values
