📋 Description

• Support project/program leads in eliciting and building business, functional, and technical requirements • Support design specification activities and build Functional Design Specification documents • Work with project leads to define project tasks and durations • Report task advancement to project leads • Work independently under technical lead guidance • Understand and troubleshoot software development, branch/release conflicts, and engineering issues • Apply project best practices and support operational improvements • Build validation and test specifications • Execute unit, regression, integration, and functional tests with project leads • Train and coach end users on MES solutions • Drive solution acceptance through Functional Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test documentation • Participate as a Functional Analyst in MES/MOM implementation projects • Participate in customer-facing functional discussions • Help analyze end-user needs and align existing applications with new application implementations • Develop troubleshooting MES implementation and front-end logic, including integrations with ERP and automation systems • Support system modifications • Identify implementation risks with project leads • Identify security and performance issues and application weaknesses, and suggest solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Siemens MES Camstar and/or Opcenter solutions • Experience interfacing MES with third-party systems such as DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Siemens SIMATIC Batch, and Rockwell PLCs/SCADA • Knowledge of programming languages including C#, Java, C++, VBA/VBScript, and Python • Mendix programming experience • Knowledge of software release management across DEV, QA, and PROD environments • Experience handling pool requests, merge operations, solution building, deployment, unit testing, and regression testing • Experience with Team Foundation Server and/or Jira is strongly recommended • Strong ability to work in a team, including virtual teams • Strong communication and collaboration skills • High degree of adaptability to learn new technologies • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required • Strong background in MES and manufacturing processes in Process or Discrete industries is recommended
