📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits of Envitia’s products, services, and internal systems • Provide expert security guidance and best practices to development, delivery, and operations teams • Design, implement, and maintain security controls and solutions that align with business and customer requirements • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring timely mitigation and lessons learned • Oversee and continuously improve physical office security systems, including CCTV and electronic access control • Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities with appropriate analysis and recommendations • Research emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to proactively enhance Envitia’s security posture • Apply knowledge of key security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, OWASP, Secure by Design, ISO27001) to customer and project requirements • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand and meet their security objectives • Collaborate with the internal colleagues to maintain ISO standards and relevant certifications • Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning as part of ongoing operational governance • Support pre-sales and bid activities by providing security expertise for tenders, proposals, and customer questionnaires • Communicate Envitia’s security capabilities and commitments to customers and partners with clarity and confidence

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of security principles across physical, digital (cyber), and operational environments. • Experience working within UK Defence, MOD, or government customer environments (advantageous) • Experience conducting security assessments, audits, and risk evaluations. • Ability to provide practical security guidance to technical and non-technical teams. • Experience designing and implementing security controls and safeguards in line with Envitia and customer requirements. • Familiarity with monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents, including recommending remediation strategies. • Awareness of security testing methods and tools in support of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities. • Working knowledge of key information security frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, Secure by Design, and ISO27001. • Experience supporting the maintenance of security standards and certifications within an organisation. • Ability to communicate security considerations effectively during pre-sales and customer engagement activities. • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and respond to emerging security risks and trends.
