📋 Description

• Provide financial leadership at the organizational level • Oversee all finance and accounting functions • Conduct forecasts and projections • Monitor treasury activities • Play a key role in EF’s long-term strategic decision-making processes • Prepare timely and accurate periodic and ad hoc financial reporting • Advise on organizational performance from a financial perspective • Develop and implement policies and procedures relevant to accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, internal controls, and procurement • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Lead and supervise finance department staff on financial matters • Investigate variance in budgets, reporting, internal controls, and general accounting

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation is required • Minimum of 6 years of progressive management/leadership experience in a similar role • Experience working in a non-profit, human rights, or advocacy organization is an asset • Experience with investment management and related accounting and reporting • Commitment to the work and values of the Equality Fund, which include Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, and Intersectionality; Feminist Leadership; Accountability; and Radical Love as related to gender equality and shifting traditional power systems • Advanced proficiency with accounting softwares, spreadsheet programs/applications and Google suite • Experience creating and managing budgets for a large, distributed organization • Professional working proficiency (verbal and written) in English • French, Spanish, Portugues, Arabic considered assets.
