📋 Description

• Manage overall coordination of enterprise projects, from planning through to implementation • Setting project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules • Facilitating discussion and consensus among various project stakeholders such as account managers, business analysts, developers, and customers • Managing and monitoring project budget and expenditures • Proactively identifies and manages risks and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed and presented to the project stakeholders • Uses appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change • Promotes IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality and adherence to standard methodology • Prepare the quality management plan as well as leading the quality assurance and testing plans • Obtain stakeholder signoff on key deliverables • Managing project close-out and lessons learned review • Aid in business development initiatives and the development of assigned consulting services opportunities • Negotiate with clients with respect to project scope, deliverables, timelines, resources and acceptance • Produce status and other project control reports as required • Work closely with Account Managers and project team to manage client expectations and ensure project objectives are met • Carry out business analysis for clients as part of project scoping • Participate collaboratively in the company Employee Development Program. • Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel at all levels representing the company in a professional manner at all times. • Actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the company as well as other departments across the company. • Continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives. • Conduct any general duties, specific job projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Director or Esri Canada management in a timely and professional manner.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in the field of Computer Sciences, GIS, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience • 5+ years experience with IT and/or GIS applications • 3+ years experience as a project manager on IT projects • Knowledge of development methodologies • Good understanding of GIS based applications • Ability to qualify for Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation • Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of current project management tools and techniques • Demonstrated ability to prepare project documents • Excellent problem-solving leadership, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent management consulting skills and experience to advise, guide facilitate and produce quality deliverables • Practical experience and working knowledge of MS Project • Customer focused • Ability to work as part of a team • Delegation skills/Time management / Multi-tasking ability • Excellent communication / presentation skills • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to negotiate and build consensus • Considered as assets for this position are the following: Experience in implementing asset management and/or permitting solutions • Experience with managing Information Technology projects in relation to any of the following: engineering, architecture, urban planning, land information, surveying, transportation, or similar industries. • Experience with Trimble Solutions (Cityworks), or other similar asset and/or case management software. • Experience with Salesforce/Kantata • Bilingual (English/French) • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
