📋 Description

• Lead and develop cloud automation solutions on the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform and 3rd party products across private and public cloud environments • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using programming languages such as JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, or tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, or Puppet • Leverage SOLID principles to develop and enhance reusable frameworks, libraries, modules, scripts, templates, CI/CD pipelines • Automate provisioning, configuration, scaling, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure using VMware Aria Suite or vCloud Director • Integrate via APIs between VMware products and various third-party systems and services • Work directly with customers during presales or delivery phase to understand customer needs and define proposals for efficient implementations • Lead and mentor development team including WBS definition, mentoring and reviewing peer’s contribution to ensure customer requirements, quality and best practices met • Stay current with industry trends and lead internal initiatives regarding optimizations and enhancements of current solutions, frameworks and processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud integration, customization and automation projects • Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Proficiency in scripting programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell) or OOP programming languages (C#, Java, NodeJS) • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) • Understanding of networking including network fundamentals (like IP addressing, subnetting, and routing), network devices (such as routers, switches, and firewalls), network protocols (like TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS), and network security principles • Experience working and leading a development team in Agile/Scrum development environments • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in multi-national setting.
