• Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and business leaders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements. • Translate business needs into Origami Risk functional specifications and user stories. • Document business rules, rating logic, and workflows for new business, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals. • Partner with Origami configuration consultants to design policy screens, rating tables, workflows, and business rules. • Align business requirements with Origami’s Policy Administration features, identifying required extensions or customizations. • Support integrations with billing, claims, rating engines, document management, and regulatory reporting systems. • Define acceptance criteria and prepare test cases for functional, rating, and UAT cycles. • Validate Origami configurations and rating calculations against business requirements. • Act as a liaison between underwriting/business users and technical teams. • Conduct requirement workshops, demos, and training sessions to support adoption. • Maintain clear documentation, traceability matrices, and decision logs. • Support program managers with project tracking, reporting, and risk/issue management. • Ensure compliance with IT security, data governance, and regulatory standards. • Contribute to BA templates, reusable assets, and best practice frameworks.
• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience in insurance policy administration systems. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Origami Risk configuration or implementations (Policy module required; Claims/Billing a plus). • Strong knowledge of the policy lifecycle: new business, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, renewals, and rating. • Familiarity with Commercial Products insurance lines strongly preferred. • Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and rating specifications. • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, and MS Office tools. • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Bachelor’s degree required; CPCU, CBAP, or PMI-PBA certifications are a plus.
