• Own feature and systems design for live free-to-play games from concept through implementation-ready documentation and post-launch tuning • Design against data and player behaviour, collaborating with Product, Analytics, and Production on KPIs, retention, revenue, A/B testing, and actionable design decisions • Deliver seasonal and event content for live-ops games • Work across Exient's portfolio, including Lemmings and live and partner titles • Contribute to GDDs, proposals, concept pitches, competitive analysis, and project scoping • Design features meeting compliance and regulatory requirements • Advance AI-assisted design workflows • Collaborate with artists, engineers, and producers to deliver polished, integrated features • Prototype and playtest ideas through rapid iteration • Lead autonomous work, raise quality standards, and support and mentor colleagues
• Minimum of five years' game design experience, the majority within a mobile games company • Demonstrable track record of shipping and operating live mobile titles • A degree in Games Design, Interactive Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Experience working on complex design projects in a fast-paced, multi-project environment • Portfolio or case studies showing senior-level design thinking across mechanics, economy, and player experience • Strong command of core-loop, meta-game, game balance, economy, and monetisation models • Excellent understanding of UI/UX and game flow, pacing, and player experience • Ability to conceptualise, prototype, and implement game concepts using a range of tools • Practical, hands-on experience integrating AI tools into a design workflow • Proficiency with Figma, Unity, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Claude • Ability to read analytics, form hypotheses, and use KPIs to guide balancing decisions • Broad knowledge of games, with passion for casual, mobile, and classic arcade genres • Self-motivated, organised, and able to deliver reliably while working largely autonomously • Clear written and verbal communication in English • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and time zones • Strong accountability and ownership, with openness to self-critique and constructive feedback • Comfortable moving between projects and adapting quickly to shifting priorities
