📋 Description

• Help drive technical design and delivery of core platform capabilities spanning cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, Observability, CI/CD systems, and developer tooling • Architect, build, and operate cloud-native platforms on AWS with a focus on reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency • Lead the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based workflows • Build and maintain internal platform services and tooling that improve developer experience and delivery velocity • Continue to drive Infrastructure as Code and automation practices across teams • Partner with application teams to unblock delivery and align platform capabilities with developer needs • Participate in and/or lead complex, cross-team initiatives and provide technical clarity in ambiguous problem spaces • Improve operational excellence through observability, automation, and incident response • Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering • Proficiency with Python and Java. Familiarity with Kotlin, Go a plus • Deep Kubernetes and container orchestration knowledge • Proven CI/CD and GitOps experience • Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform) • Strong AWS and cloud-native experience • Experience operating distributed, high-availability systems • Ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively across regions. • Nice to have: Experience with internal developer platforms or portals, FinOps or cloud cost management experience, Regulated or high-availability environment experience, Backend development experience, Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

• Periodic travel to the United States is expected for offsites, planning sessions, and collaboration. • Occasional travel within the UK and Ireland may also be required.
