📋 Description
• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers • Maintain contractor schedules and monitor routes • Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes • Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day • Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve operational efficiencies • Train and develop contract carriers and dispatchers • Ensure compliance with corporate warehouse policies • Supervise employees and address complaints/resolving problems
🎯 Requirements
• 4 years related logistics and supervisory experience • Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook and Excel • Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or similar (preferred) • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights and weekends • Experience mentoring, training and guiding newer/less-experienced team members • Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write and speak both languages) • Strong business acumen
