📋 Description

• Set the mission, vision, and strategy for Bot Detection as a distinct product line • Own the roadmap across detection capabilities, taxonomy/identity models, customer-facing UX, and go-to-market readiness • Define the evolution from bot detection toward automation and intent intelligence • Expand and improve detection coverage, including anti-detect browsers, network and IP intelligence, AI assistant detection, and agentic automation patterns • Partner with Engineering and Data Science on evaluation methodology, quality targets, and iteration loops • Own detection taxonomy and classification semantics • Translate competitive and threat landscape trends into prioritized detection investments • Drive strategy for the Automation Intelligence API and non-JavaScript automation detection • Align data contracts and platform requirements across JavaScript and non-JavaScript collection paths • Define and ship Dashboard, API, schema, and developer workflow experiences • Own plan gating and packaging assumptions for self-serve and enterprise experiences • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing on positioning, beta programs, customer feedback, launches, and enablement • Work cross-functionally on pricing, packaging, and operational readiness • Act as the single-threaded owner across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, GTM, and Customer Success • Run quarterly planning, define milestones, manage dependencies, and communicate tradeoffs • Improve detection coverage and quality • Deliver cohesive Dashboard and API experiences with clear plan-gated paths • Sequence launches with enablement, documentation, and customer feedback loops

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience at, or deep familiarity with, bot management, fraud, or abuse platforms • High ownership and strong cross-functional operating cadence • Customer empathy and ability to translate customer problems into roadmap and requirements • Strong data-informed decision making, including defining success metrics and reading dashboards • Comfort with precision/recall tradeoffs, false-positive/false-negative analysis, coverage targets, and model/rule iteration loops • Familiarity with privacy and regulatory constraints such as GDPR and CCPA • Ability to drive privacy-preserving product requirements • Deep understanding of web technologies and browser/API automation techniques preferred • Understanding of network and IP intelligence, residential proxies, spoofing, and tampering techniques preferred • Familiarity with detection signal pipelines, feature engineering, latency, scale, and robustness preferred • Experience with build-versus-buy evaluations in security/detection domains preferred • Experience building products combining heuristic and machine-learning approaches preferred • Must be authorized to work from the home location • No visa sponsorship available
