📋 Description

• Own the words, editorial standard, voice, and final read across the Finom experience • Build and own the style guide and drive adoption beyond Editorial • Establish the editorial review layer, criteria, and error-prevention process • Lead, develop, provide feedback to, and hire copywriting team members • Own Finom's editorial AI strategy, including usage boundaries and quality gates • Write personally for key projects, campaigns, and launches • Coordinate lifecycle, web, paid, and social copy for consistent language • Partner with Product to maintain brand voice in the product • Work with localisation partners to improve source-language quality • Tighten, sharpen, and test copy to improve conversion • Build intake and prioritisation models for rising demand • Deliver documented editorial standards, review processes, AI-assisted workflows, and improved conversion and writer performance

🎯 Requirements

• Evidence of leading the editorial standard through people management, mentoring, or senior individual-contributor influence • Experience producing high-volume marketing and conversion copy in a fast-moving tech or digital environment • Native-level English and exceptional written English • Demonstrable AI fluency in an editorial context, including policy-setting, defining AI use, building checking layers, and maintaining quality at scale • Track record of building editorial standards, style guides, or review processes from scratch • Experience developing writers who measurably improved • Ability to work across marketing and product surfaces • Based in an eligible EU location, the UK, or Ireland • Fintech, financial services, or regulated-industry experience is a nice-to-have • Experience owning voice across marketing and in-product copy is a nice-to-have • Experience running a source-language function supporting multi-market localisation is a nice-to-have • Experience building or managing a freelance writer network is a nice-to-have
