📋 Description

• Install, configure, and test hardware systems, including people counting sensors and peripherals. • Conduct site surveys to assess requirements for safe and efficient installations. • Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. • Carry out scheduled maintenance and system upgrades. • Maintain accurate documentation of all service activities, including reports and timesheets. • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate project timelines and resolve escalations. • Ensure compliance with company standards and health & safety regulations during all field activities. • Represent the company professionally, delivering timely and courteous service. • Participate in weekend on-call rotation for remote support.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a field-based technical support or installation role and working at heights. • Strong knowledge of performing installations (heritage sector an advantage), IP networks, and Wi-Fi technologies. • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments and MS Office Suite. • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and repair hardware issues. • Excellent planning and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction. • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude. • Highly organised and adaptable to changing priorities. • Calm and confident under pressure. • Strong team player with a focus on collaboration and relationship building. • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. • Prepared to work out of hours as required. • Other desirable but not essential experience: Certifications (e.g., IPAF, CSCS, PASMA) are advantageous but not essential. • Experience within the heritage sector and listed buildings advantageous.
