📋 Description
• Lead and support the day-to-day activities of a high-impact engineering team • Hire, mentor, and develop team members, fostering ownership and accountability • Set priorities, track success against goals, and ensure delivery to high standards • Provide technical direction, driving pragmatic and scalable solutions • Solve complex technical challenges with deep analysis • Manage estimates, risks, and progress across multiple projects • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability remain central to delivery • Partner with Product Managers, QA, SRE, and stakeholders across the organization • Influence product and platform strategy through technical insights
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years managing engineering teams (ideally in a regulated industry) • 6+ years professional software engineering experience • Proven background in designing and scaling distributed systems • Strong fundamentals in modern engineering practices (TDD, BDD, CI/CD, databases, object-oriented design) • Excellent collaboration and communication skills • FinTech or payments industry experience is a strong plus
