• Design, build, and maintain clean, secure, testable, and scalable code for the core payments platform • Drive end-to-end automation in payment processing and reduce manual effort in FX trading • Resolve challenging bugs and production issues to ensure global platform reliability • Evaluate complex technical problems and select appropriate methods and approaches • Improve performance and scalability of systems as the platform expands worldwide • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to shape product vision and deliver business value • Mentor teammates, lead technical projects, and support recruitment efforts • Deliver measurable business savings through automation and optimisation
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in web application development • Proven track record building scalable, reliable, high-performance distributed systems • Solid understanding of relational databases and object-oriented fundamentals • Skilled in test-driven and behaviour-driven development (TDD/BDD) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively with QAs, Product, and SREs • Excellent communication skills • Fluent in English (company working language) • Experience in FinTech or the payments industry (a plus) • Familiarity with: Java, Spring & Hibernate, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AWS Cloud
