📋 Description

• Develop a more reliable, scalable and accessible reporting capability across the organisation • Complete and enhance the Customer Service reporting suite and reporting deck in AWS QuickSight • Design, build and document reusable datasets for multiple reporting use cases • Integrate key business systems into curated reporting datasets • Translate stakeholder questions into clear data and dashboard requirements • Establish consistent business metrics, definitions and reporting logic • Automate manual reporting and duplicated data preparation where possible • Validate reporting outputs and investigate data-quality issues • Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams and support a longer-term reporting roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards using AWS QuickSight or a comparable BI platform • Practical experience using SQL and Python for reporting, data transformation or analysis • Experience working with multiple data sources and translating stakeholder requirements into accurate, maintainable reporting • Self-sufficient and pragmatic approach, with ability to take ownership and deliver within a focused six-month engagement • Desirable: experience using Amazon Athena or a similar cloud-based data querying service • Desirable: experience creating curated datasets for self-service reporting • Desirable: experience improving data quality, reporting governance and technical documentation • Desirable: experience working in a start-up, scale-up or small team with broad ownership
