• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the store • Help establish the new Bath store and team, driving business growth and profitability • Drive customer service levels, team development and retention, communication, and retail standards • Deputise for the Store Manager in their absence • Communicate financial targets and performance to the team • Support sales staff in achieving individual targets and improve performance through business development and relationship building • Complete weekly trade reports with anecdotal information and missed sales or potential opportunities • Monitor tailoring-related costs and take action when costs escalate • Manage sales floor team performance, service, communication, brand awareness, product knowledge, and visual merchandising • Participate in weekly performance meetings, set objectives, and implement training schedules • Support recruitment, induction, training, discipline, and appraisals • Maintain communication with HR and manage staff performance issues with management support • Conduct daily floor walks for visual excellence and health and safety compliance • Ensure appropriate stock levels, replenishment, cycle counts, and security procedures • Manage team deployment, breaks, peak and quiet periods, shop floor standards, and store recovery • Ensure commercially led shop floor layout and exceptional presentation • Ensure the store opens on time and is securely locked and alarmed • Support in-store events • Lead by example in customer service and resolve enquiries and issues promptly and professionally within 24 hours • Review customer service standards, solve problems, and address customer queries and complications • Develop the Bath business through an entrepreneurial approach and networking
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally menswear, at Department Manager/Assistant Manager level or as Store Manager of a smaller store • Clear, concise, polite communication • Passion for tailoring and desire to increase tailoring knowledge • Proficient in English, verbal and written • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple scenarios • Immaculately presented • Punctual, flexible, and able to adapt to business needs at short notice
