📋 Description

• Own how and when the product and engineering organization ships • Partner with the Senior Product Manager and heads of Engineering, Applied AI, Research, and the FDE team • Standardize and consolidate tools into as few systems of record as possible • Own the end-to-end SDLC and Linear, establish deadlines, track capacity, and provide a six-month forward view • Design automated development workflows incorporating compliance, security, and privacy reviews • Formalize the FDE-to-Engineering handoff and determine when extensions are productized, deprecated, or integrated into the core model • Run cross-team operating rhythms across Applied AI, Engineering, and Research • Coordinate dependencies across San Francisco, Europe, and Israel • Facilitate API and technical specification alignment, including API signatures, terminology, and system design • Drive built capabilities across the line to launch • Establish and run weekly or biweekly operational reviews with engineering leadership • Collaborate across departments including Marketing and Sales

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in technical program management, engineering management, or a hybrid role at a high-growth software or AI company • Direct experience with the machine learning or LLM development lifecycle • Track record of standing up SDLC and tooling at a company in the 50 to 300 person range • Experience migrating an organisation off tool sprawl onto a coherent stack is a bonus • Comfort coordinating senior engineers and researchers without managing them • Director or Principal-level individual contributor profile • Experience coordinating engineering across multiple time zones, ideally including the US/Europe/Israel triangle or equivalent • Strong written communication • Background in enterprise B2B SaaS, especially companies with both a platform motion and a Forward Deployed Engineering or solutions motion, is nice to have • Experience working alongside an FDE or applied team where customer-built work needs to be productized is nice to have • Familiarity with model deployment, inference infrastructure, or MLOps at production scale is nice to have
