• Source, select, organise and supply high-quality publicity stills. • Work closely with TV Content Creation and the wider team to produce engaging content across TV print and digital publications. • Select suitable images for a TV listings environment, including cast and character photography, episode-specific stills, key art and programme publicity. • Ensure images are accurate, appropriately cleared and supplied to required editorial specifications. • Report to the Picture Editor.
• An understanding of the television publicity landscape, including broadcasters, production companies, distributors, picture agencies and press offices, as well as the different types of imagery available for TV programmes. • A proactive approach to resolving image-sourcing issues quickly and finding suitable alternatives when preferred imagery isn’t available. • An understanding of the editorial needs of TV listings magazines. • The ability to manage a high volume of image requests while working to tight deadlines. • Experience sourcing and obtaining television publicity stills from broadcasters, production companies, distributors, PR agencies, picture libraries and photographers. • Experience using TV picture libraries, image databases and digital asset management systems, with a good understanding of image licensing, usage rights, credits and editorial permissions.
