• Turn product strategy into clear, build-ready work • Scope product requirements, define acceptance criteria, and surface edge cases • Write clear, self-contained developer tickets • Work directly with engineers to clarify and refine scope • Help prioritise the backlog with the Product Manager based on effort, dependencies, and impact • Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog and visible delivery status • Gather and structure input from internal teams and clients • Support sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives • Track delivery against expectations • Translate product direction into requirements, tickets, and prioritised delivery • Connect product, engineering, commercial, and client-facing teams
🎯 Requirements
• Experience in a product analyst, associate product manager, business analyst, or delivery-focused role, ideally in a data or SaaS environment • Strong written communication skills and ability to make complex requirements unambiguous • Ability to work closely with engineers and translate between technical and non-technical audiences • Structured, detail-oriented, and organised approach • Sound judgement on prioritisation and trade-offs • Familiarity with ticketing/backlog tools such as Jira and product delivery workflows • Bonus: exposure to payments, fintech, financial data, or cross-border payments • Bonus: familiarity with data investigation and data pipelines • Bonus: understanding of JSON/REST APIs and microservices • Bonus: experience working with client-facing or commercial teams • Ability to work typical Monday-Friday, 9-5 GMT/BST hours • Candidates should not use AI tools during interviews or technical tasks unless explicitly instructed
