📋 Description

• Implement new scrapers and maintain existing scrapers • Improve the scraping platform’s data quality, performance, and observability • Conduct research and technical investigations • Own architectural or conceptual platform components, such as reliability, QA processes, or AI scrapers • Understand the codebase and reduce complexity and technical debt • Perform code reviews • Participate in intra-team and cross-team technical initiatives and discussions • Reliably collect large amounts of financial data from open third-party websites and mobile apps • Process collected data, check quality, and serve it to users • Contribute to the migration of the scraping platform to its fourth generation

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Python and SQL skills • Experience solving complex data and backend challenges • Experience with data processing and distributed high-load systems • Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka • Ability to perform basic exploratory data analysis • Ability to make technical decisions based on observed data • Proactive ownership of projects and high technical standards • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities • Ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to understand the business domain and align technical output with product goals and user needs • Positive attitude and proactive willingness to learn technologies and methodologies • Prior experience at a data product company or involvement with Big Data is a bonus • Experience collaborating with BI, DA, or ML teams is a bonus • Experience building scalable web-scraping architectures and backend systems • Experience documenting system architecture • Familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn • Typical working hours are Monday-Friday in UTC/UTC+1
