📋 Description

• Designing and building scalable software to deliver a world-class digital experience to customers, integrating complex financial processes • Scoping and leading technical projects, laying the groundwork for products to evolve, scale, and deliver outcomes • Making effective tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and technical feasibility • Collaborating closely with product, design, ops, and data teams to prioritize and build solutions • Improving developer experience and quality of systems by investing in tooling, infrastructure, code quality, automated testing, and observability • Setting engineering culture with the rest of the team by defining team dynamics and standards for quality

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced as a full-stack engineer (backend leaning is ideal!) in a startup for over 3 years • Fluent in Python (Frappe) and TypeScript ecosystems • Experience with MariaDB or any other RDBMS • Strong technical background in building high-quality code and infrastructure • Preference for simple solutions over complex ones • Experienced in working with PostgreSQL • Comfortable working in ambiguity while balancing tactical and strategic considerations • Ready to hit the ground running with a strong technical background, including experience building high-quality code and infrastructure • Enjoy working as part of a small, cross-functional team in close partnership with other cross-functional teams • Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones • Like to take ownership of problems across healthcare, insurance, and finance, finding creative solutions and getting others on board
