📋 Description

• Perform troubleshooting activities at customer site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implement corrective actions • Develop requisite documentation to execute work, e.g., commissioning procedures, maintenance procedures, daily logs, etc. • Perform installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations of GE Drives • Execute on-site project management and technical leader duties to resolve customer issues and provide customer satisfaction • Develop presentations and provide training and instruction to customers on drive operations • Coordinate opportunities to serve customers with customer service teams, parts, other FSEs, repair services, sales, and product engineering teams • Advise customers of recommended upgrades and service opportunities • Coordinate maintenance activities for customers and plan for inspections • Provide support to engineering teams working on customer CMU’s projects • Identify new opportunities & develop effective offerings to improve in-service equipment reliability/availability • Promote sales of maintenance services • Provide on-call support in response to customer calls for service • Complete timely service reports and other administrative requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • Minimum 3 years of field service and/or commissioning experience • Must live in the USA • Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time on short notice • Perform work on-board vessels within GE / Customer safety guidelines either in shipyards or offshore • Extended hours/overtime may be required during peak periods and emergency circumstances • Domestic or overseas travel to customer sites for extended periods of time.
