📋 Description

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of X-ray systems across the Midlands, with flexibility to support wider UK requirements • Diagnose and resolve complex system-level faults across multi-technology platforms • Build relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment uptime and customer satisfaction • Provide remote diagnostics and support from a home office • Collaborate with engineering teams, service centres, and commercial functions • Manage tools, spare parts, and travel logistics • Complete required documentation accurately and on time • Support overtime, short-notice callouts, and weekend shifts

🎯 Requirements

• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical discipline • Field service experience; medical imaging experience advantageous but not essential • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently • Experience with remote connectivity tools and diagnostics • Good IT skills, including software installation, virtual machines, and troubleshooting • Full UK driving licence • Fluent in English • Flexibility to support overtime, short-notice callouts, and compulsory weekend shifts (1 in every 4 weekends) • Willingness to travel approximately 35–40% of the time, including occasional overnight stays • Willingness to attend international training courses as required • Experience with additional medical imaging modalities is desirable • Knowledge of DICOM and IT/network troubleshooting is desirable • Familiarity with CRM systems is desirable • Project management experience is desirable
