• Manage the long-term success of GE’s relationships in the North East of England Region • Build key relationships with NHS Trusts, private clinics, customers and partners • Sell complex technical medical imaging products, services and solutions • Lead, develop and implement business development and growth strategies for GE medical imaging solutions, including CT, MI, MR, Surgery, Interventional, Xray and Women’s Health • Act as the key interface between GE and assigned customer accounts, owning customer relationships • Understand customer needs, competitor offerings, and market changes to position GE solutions effectively • Manage account opportunities, new business, install-base management and upgrades • Deliver short- and medium-term goals, annual orders and sales targets • Maintain CRM tools, opportunities, account information, forecasting and business performance data • Own territory administration, the sales process, lead generation, revenue recognition and tender management • Manage the sales funnel over a long-term horizon • Build strategic alliances, protect against competitive threats and grow target accounts • Improve customer experience with the wider business using a customer-centric approach • Work across the matrixed organization as a single customer point of contact • Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to increase prospects and close opportunities • Forecast territory orders and sales and submit bi-weekly reports • Represent GE at trade association meetings • Support the Regional Sales Manager in advancing UKI business, customer satisfaction, orders, revenue and growth
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or equivalent knowledge or experience and know-how in selling medical imaging technology capital goods in the national healthcare environment • Industrious and operating at high levels of commercial intensity • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English • Excellent organizational and presentation skills • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills • Significant Sales Account Management experience • Highly motivated team player • Excellent planning, organization and time management • Ability to problem solve and rectify situations to meet customer expectations and define innovative proposals • Ability to deliver high quality results under pressure • Flexible and able to travel and work between locations in the UK • Excellent customer-facing skills, including experience dealing with senior management • Strong commercial creativity and business rigour with an entrepreneurial mindset • Ability to develop and execute account-level strategies with a 'OneGE' mindset • Knowledge of sales and service operating procedures • Strong analytical and process skills • Product and competitor knowledge • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SFDC and CRM tools • Confidence collaborating with various stakeholders • Valid motor vehicle license • Must reside in the North East of England • Commercial experience of large capital equipment sales • Proven sales experience in the Imaging Diagnostics environment • UK medical imaging market understanding • Healthcare industry experience, including knowledge of NHS organization
