📋 Description

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) • Assist with audits • Take responsibility for accounts payable and fixed asset accounting • Monitor payment transactions and post incoming and outgoing payments • Manage corporate credit card reconciliations • Perform independent account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Optimize accounting processes and automations and maintain documentation • Collaborate within a 4-person team

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a startup, an SME, or a tax consultancy • Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte), a comparable commercial apprenticeship, or a degree in business/economics • Very good knowledge of DATEV Unternehmen online and DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen • Strong IT skills, particularly with Google Workspace • Independent, conscientious, and solution-oriented working style • Team player with enthusiasm for cross-departmental collaboration • Strong communication skills in German
