📋 Description

• Translate French to English or English to French accurately • Edit and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency • Translate and edit official documents, including vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts • Maintain confidentiality • Follow client-specific instructions and formatting requirements • Meet assigned deadlines, including one-to-two-day turnaround timelines when required

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and current residence in the United States • Willingness to complete a Tier 1 background investigation, including fingerprinting • Native or highly proficient French and English language skills • Two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor • Strong attention to detail • Excellent formatting skills • Ability to produce client-ready work • Reliable and deadline-oriented • Highly productive and comfortable working independently • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach • Access to up-to-date Windows software • Ability to work with standard document formats • Able to provide per-word rates for translation and editing • Willingness to accept assignments on an as-needed basis • Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or equivalent qualification preferred
