📋 Description

• Lead, guide, and direct a large group of technical employees responsible for engineering deliverables supporting business objectives • Lead engineering execution related to Vehicle Development Process deliverables • Provide technical leadership and strategic influence to the work team • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other teams to align technology development with business goals and user needs • Lead new methods, initiatives, and organization-wide best practices in talent management, quality, and development processes • Provide vision and direction for maintaining, extending, and innovating the application stack • Guide software architecture, design, and development processes • Host technical discussions and serve as a subject matter expert • Encourage innovation, continuous learning, and adoption of practical new technologies • Develop new products and tools with autonomous teams while maintaining system quality, performance, and scalability • Conduct group meetings and communicate company policies, procedures, leadership, and safety messages • Create and communicate functional vision and strategies • Prepare and deliver presentations • Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback • Conduct performance interventions and provide timely feedback to direct employees • Participate in compensation planning and administer compensation treatment • Remove roadblocks and resolve potential issues • Supervise 3 People Leaders and 12 Individual Contributors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Science, or related field of study • Eight (8) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or related role • Five years of experience with application and services development • Five years of experience contributing to architecture, documentation, and design of new and existing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling • Five years of experience creating intuitive, responsive UIs with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks • Five years of experience designing scalable architectures combining frontend, backend, and graphics components • Five years of experience creating and integrating RESTful APIs • Five years of experience deploying scalable visualization services using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes • Five years of experience with C++, Java, TypeScript, C#, and Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code • 10% domestic travel required
