📋 Description

• Manage a current customer base while developing and expanding the customer base in the assigned territory • Market the Gold Star Foods mission of exceptional service and innovation • Communicate directly with customers through in-person, virtual meetings, email, and phone • Collaborate with K-12 customer service, logistics, procurement, and vendors to meet customer service expectations • Manage bids in collaboration with the Gold Star Foods bid team • Plan and execute sales goals and objectives to promote profitability and strengthen distribution-channel relationships • Develop and refine account profiles for key customers within the assigned territory • Execute semi-annual sales plans for each key customer, including distribution penetration and conversion strategies • Drive engagement among sales management, customer service, logistics, bid management, and customers on high-profile opportunities • Conduct business review evaluations using analytics, reports, and infographics; communicate results to customers • Define strategies to improve customer service and increase case movement • Communicate market challenges, opportunities, customer needs, distribution topics, and business intelligence with internal teams • Update and confirm vendor challenges using approved RFPs and bid documents • Communicate program and contract changes to Procurement and Bids leadership • Coordinate new product requests and communicate product/pricing requests • Update the Customer Experience team and ensure order guides are updated • Represent Gold Star Foods at customer conferences, seminars, and meetings • Plan weekly/monthly calendars using Microsoft Outlook and execute market strategies • Attend required meetings and provide timely reports • Manage individual expense accounts within budget guidelines • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient use of computers for Word and Excel (spreadsheets), Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint Presentations • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent analytical skills • 5+ years direct sales experience in the Foodservice Industry (K-12 School segment) is preferred • Marketing experience is beneficial • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
