• Collaborate with business units to understand business problems, processes, and objectives to drive effective solutions. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications. • Create and maintain documentation, including design considerations and requirements. • Develop high-level and detailed requirements, ensuring clarity for development teams. • Prepare flow diagrams (using tools like Visio or Lucidchart) to illustrate solutions for business stakeholders. • Share solution requirements with business teams and ensure alignment. • Support testing activities, including writing test cases and assisting QA teams as needed. • Document and manage user stories in JIRA. • Capture non-functional requirements such as compliance, security, access, and controls. • Act as a critical thinker to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience) • 8–10 years in the software industry, with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst • Hands-on experience in requirement gathering and documentation • Strong understanding of applications and solution design aspects • Ability to write clear, concise requirements and user stories • Familiarity with JIRA and diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart) • Knowledge of SQL and experience in financial or mortgage industry is a plus (not mandatory)
