• Manage tender acquisition processes, coordinating bids or being part of a Bid Coordination Team across diverse sectors. • Expand networks of experts, clients, and partners in respective fields. • Contribute to country-specific activities related to various sectors. • Support operational aspects of bid management as required by the team. • Lead and manage projects within various domains (e.g. peace & conflict prevention, security, migration & forced displacement), ensuring a positive reputation for GOPA PACE. • Organize field monitoring missions to support project implementations and quality assurance. • Oversee project organization, results quality, and financial aspects. • Participate as an expert in technical assistance projects or framework contracts. • Actively contributes to developing and implementing strategies within the department across different sectors. • Identify technical trends and market developments in respective fields. • Assist in broadening the donor landscape in each specific sector. • Share updates and relevant information with the team regarding respective sector-specific matters. • Offer guidance and support to junior colleagues under the supervision of the Director and the Senior Project Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields related to International Relations, Security Studies, Public Policy, or relevant disciplines. • Master’s degree or other postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields would be an asset. • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in international cooperation & development, preferably linked to our sectors of expertise and working for a consultancy firm. • Excellent representation and communication skills. • Sound knowledge of EU cooperation policies and instruments. • Familiarity with EU and other donors’ funding procedures. • Ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders. • Computer skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Proficiency in French and English are mandatory. • Fluency in Arabic would be highly valuable. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages relevant to our regions of work will be considered as an asset.
