📋 Description
• Work for a weight loss service as a non-prescribing pharmacist • Review 15 patients per hour • Prepare detailed cases for GP review • Match questionnaires against exclusion criteria to provide enhanced advice for specific patient groups • Review 15 questionnaires/blood tests per hour • Keep up to date with NICE guidelines on weight management and obesity treatment • Maintain accurate patient records in line with GDPR • Work within a multidisciplinary team and refer patients appropriately • Report to the Operations Team
🎯 Requirements
• Registered with the GPHC • Must have the right to work in the UK • Previous experience with GLP-1 medication for weight loss (ideal) • Must be IT literate • Up to date with mandatory training • Must commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week on a regular basis • Strong knowledge of weight management, nutrition, and obesity guidelines • Understanding of available weight-loss treatments, including indications and contraindications • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and refer patients appropriately • Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist who wants to work differently
