📋 Description
• Deliver safe, evidence-based weight management services • Assess patient consultations remotely • Prescribe repeat GLP-1 medication where clinically appropriate • Keep up to date with NICE guidelines on weight management and obesity treatment • Maintain accurate patient records in line with data protection (GDPR) • Review and assess online patient consultations for repeat weight loss medication • Identify contraindications, safeguarding and red flags • Provide clear and accurate patient counselling
🎯 Requirements
• Registered with the GPHC • Qualified Independent Prescriber • Insurance – must be provided • Must have a personal laptop • Must have a Right to Work in the UK • Previous experience of GLP1 medication – for weight loss (ideal) • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Must be IT literate • Up to date with mandatory training • Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacists who want to work differently
