📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in the finance technology domain, advising CFO clients and publishing research on ERP transformation, AI in ERP, and finance technology strategy • Work with a collaborative team of experienced analysts to build authoritative research and advice addressing CFO priorities and challenges • Help CFO clients understand the impact of technology on the finance function and select best-fit cloud ERP vendors based on use cases and needs • Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions with clients • Remain ahead of the curve across cloud ERP business case building, vendor evaluation and selection, embedded AI vendor capabilities, program governance, implementation, go-live readiness and post go-live management • Meet with clients daily via video conference or present from the stage at Gartner events • Publish research and lead client interactions to help clients solve difficult challenges and improve performance

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience working in finance department roles or consulting roles supporting and leading large cloud ERP projects • Strong working knowledge of the latest trends, innovations and vendor capabilities in the finance technology and cloud ERP software market, including the AI capabilities of vendors • Experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build buy-in for finance technology projects, including cloud ERP upgrades • Experience mapping finance needs to business outcomes and delivering roadmaps on time and on budget • Strong knowledge of transactional finance and accounting processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (CPA or equivalent certification preferred; Master’s degree preferred) • Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally • Adept at writing insightful and actionable content for CFOs • Excellent collaborator with the ability to quickly build rapport and gain client trust • Confident presenter with CFO executive presence • Analytical thinker with ability to process information quickly and make actionable recommendations
