📋 Description

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, highly leveraged must-have insights content • Develop thought leadership, actionable approaches, and strategic insights addressing client needs • Analyze client barriers and needs to identify root causes and drive strategy • Establish Insights positions across a team of analysts • Provide independent insights to Gartner leaders and influence research agendas • Research, analyze, and predict cybersecurity market trends and shifts • Advise clients and prospects through virtual and face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentations for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Provide sales support and serve as the voice of the market • Conduct timely, high-quality peer reviews of content • Represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions • Collaborate with peers across the Insights community • Improve research processes and develop new processes for service delivery • Mentor and coach junior team members • Help clients engage regularly with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience • Owned cybersecurity strategy and operational outcomes as a CISO, deputy CISO, or equivalent leader • Experience engaging senior executives, translating cyber risk into business impacts, and facilitating strategic risk management discussions • Experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs involving emerging technologies • Expertise translating Agentic AI, Zero Trust, Post-Quantum Cryptography, and Continuous Threat Exposure Management into strategic business roadmaps • Leadership experience across the enterprise AI lifecycle, including securing AI systems, integrating AI into cybersecurity workflows, AI governance, or AI risk management • Ability to advise on global cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, NIS2, DORA, and the EU AI Act • Broad knowledge of the cybersecurity marketplace, tooling platforms, market dynamics, capability mapping, and vendor portfolio consolidation • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellent research and writing ability • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, and presentation skills • Ability to analyze and synthesize data and apply patterns and frameworks • Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts concisely • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large- and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
