📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of SME, trust, partnership, and high-net-worth individual clients. • Experience in managing own mini team. • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns (individual, company, trust) • Review and lodge BAS, IAS, FBT, and GST returns. • Assist with tax planning and compliance to optimise client outcomes. • Supervise, train, and review work of junior accountants and graduates. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely and effective communication. • Keep up to date with changes in tax law, ATO guidelines , and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) . • Assisting with payroll tax, QBCC, FBT and other ad hoc compliance tasks • Assisting with tax planning, management reporting, and other business advisory services • Liaising with clients to answer queries and provide professional support

🎯 Requirements

• Should be a graduate of Finance and or Accounting • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) OR Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred • Complete knowledge of client accounts and businesses • General AU Accounting experience with solid background • At least 5 years of experience in Australian accounting or taxation • Knowledge with Australian Taxation and Compliance is preferred • Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Familiar with accounting tools such as Xero and MYOB • Ability to learn new systems and tools as needed • Ensures quality of work being delivered without being supervised • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Good oral and written communication skills
