📋 Description

• Create high-end photorealistic footwear (including exploded views and animations) and product renders using Unreal Engine (Lumen, Path Tracer). • Take ownership of creative briefs from layout to final render, with minimal oversight. • Develop lighting setups and material libraries that push visual quality while remaining efficient and scalable. • Suggest improvements to the Unreal Engine pipeline and workflows, working closely with the Head of CG and developers. • Support and mentor more junior team members with Unreal best practices and troubleshooting. • Ensure all deliverables meet visual quality, product accuracy, and technical requirements. • Collaborate with producers and retouch/dev teams to ensure assets are finalised to the highest standard.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in high-end product rendering with demonstrable focus on footwear. • Expert-level skills in Unreal Engine, particularly for offline rendering workflows. • Strong knowledge of Lumen, Path Tracer, and photo-real shader/material creation using PBR workflows. • Experience using Substance Painter/Designer and/or PBR scanning techniques. • Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and colour theory. • Experience in 3DS Max and an offline renderer (e.g., V-Ray, Corona) is a plus. • Ability to work with complex assets and material variants based on reference and client briefs. • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset. • A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for architecture, interior design, and visual storytelling.
