📋 Description

• Serve as a client-facing project lead and trusted advisor for corporate legal department clients • Evaluate legal processes, define requirements, design practical technology solutions, and guide implementations • Manage projects and clients, leading requirements gathering and analysis • Facilitate requirements gathering and document processes • Transform business requirements into technical requirements and design • Draft findings and recommendations, functional and technical design documents, data maps, test scripts, training and communication plans, and training guides • Configure and develop technologies based on technical requirements and design • Administer system testing, track defects, and collaborate with technology providers and clients to resolve defects • Assist with project scope, schedules, workplans, timelines, and budgets • Manage client expectations and project scope while fostering client relationships • Develop proficiency in legal technologies used on active projects • Research legal industry and technology trends, product developments, best practices, emerging technologies, and AI • Assist with proposals, workplans, presentations, and other business development efforts • Contribute to the growth and development of the Corporate Legal Technology team and Harbor • Lead workstreams, guide team members, manage client expectations, and drive initiatives from discovery through deployment

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in the legal or consulting industry • 7+ years of experience in legal technology, including assessments, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment • Experience implementing ELM/eBilling + Matter Management, Legal Hold, and Legal Workflow tools • Experience with TeamConnect and CounselLink preferred; familiarity with WK T360, Onit/SimpleLegal, Litify, Legal Tracker, Brightflag, doeLegal, and similar systems • Related data migration and integration workstream experience • Proven track record leading complex legal technology projects or major workstreams from discovery through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization • Project management experience managing tasks, resources, and financials during technology implementation projects • Four-year degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Data & Analytics, or similar, or equivalent combination of experience and education • Understanding of requirement analysis, design, configuration/development, migration, testing, and change management • Proficient in process mapping • Strong observational, analytical, numerical reasoning, business acumen, problem-solving, and leadership skills • Effective written and spoken communication and storytelling skills • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, maintain exacting work standards, and attention to detail • Ability to work cooperatively, take initiative, improve methodologies, and create client deliverables with moderate oversight • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit • Advanced computer skills, primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio • Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
