Hauler Hero is a cloud-based SaaS platform that helps waste-hauling companies optimize operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. The product bundles CRM, drag-and-drop dispatching and routing, billing, reporting, a mobile driver app, and customer-facing portals, plus developing AI features (Hero Vision, Hero Chat, Hero Routing) for automated pickup documentation, self-service support, and real-time route optimization. It’s designed for office staff, dispatchers, drivers, and managers to improve route productivity, cash collection, and customer experience.

📋 Description

• Build pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces from Figma using React, TypeScript, and Material UI • Own features end-to-end from design handoff through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration • Build complex, validated forms using React Hook Form • Ensure mobile-first and tablet-first user experiences for field workflows • Own unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testing • Drive frontend quality standards and best practices • Optimize bundle size, render performance, and Core Web Vitals • Extend and customize Material UI components using advanced CSS • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers • Ship MVPs quickly and iterate based on customer feedback • Communicate in an async-first environment using Slack, Notion, and Loom • Help define component patterns and frontend architecture • Support the transition from JavaScript to TypeScript • Contribute to the design system and address technical debt • Review AI-generated code and focus on architecture, UX decisions, edge cases, and quality

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience building production React applications • Strong TypeScript experience or full readiness to adopt TypeScript • Deep experience with Material UI version 5 or later • Expert-level experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query • Advanced CSS3 skills, including Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, and mobile-first principles • Experience building complex forms with React Hook Form • Hands-on frontend testing experience using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright • Pixel-accurate Figma-to-code execution • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first UX • Experience with performance optimization, code splitting, lazy loading, and profiling • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments • Comfortable with pull request-based Git workflows and code reviews • Familiarity with Slack, Figma, Vite or Webpack • Strong written English communication • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Must be located in Eastern Europe • Must consistently overlap with U.S. working hours, including at least four hours each workday with U.S. Eastern Time • Comfortable working as an independent contractor • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools daily, including Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot • Must review and verify AI-generated code • Nice-to-have experience with Firebase Authentication or Storage, mapping libraries, GraphQL or REST APIs, monorepos or micro-frontends, and B2B SaaS or field-service software
